During the afternoon hours of December 20, 2007, Rescue 1 was dispatched to Noon’s Quarry Road for a snow blower accident.  Upon arrival, crews found a young girl entrapped in the snow blower by the hood of her coat.  After a very quick extrication, she was moved to the ambulance and transported to MMC with Capt. Flaherty and Lt. Chappell assisting EMS .  Despite the best efforts of everyone involved, we could not change the end result.  We can only hope that Jaiden is now a guardian angel to all of us.
